Leather
In gluing leather:
Someone at a show told me that they glue leather quite regularly.
He found that leather glues well with Miracle Glue but he dampens the
leather first. He uses a small misting bottle to wet the
leather. I have experimented with this and although I haven't
done much, it has worked. You don't want the surface real wet
but you want enough moisture so the surface is primed and the glue
will remain on the surface. Because of the nature of the glue,
the moisture also helps Miracle Glue to bond.
What's been done to make Miracle Glue different than Super Glue or Krazy Glue is that the solvents have been distilled out. So, as Miracle Glue is pure it is much stronger and there are no solvents to make it discolor and go brittle. It dries clear and flexible. But the real benefit is that you get to use it all. It is stronger than Superglue and has a much longer shelf life! Store it in the fridge and
you'll get a very good shelf life out of it. Most customers keep it for 3 years. Use it at room temperature for best results.
